NEW! Sketchn’ with Small Hands, 9:00-10:30am. Discover your own creativity while drawing in both color and black & white. Professionals will guide youngsters through classic (and fun) techniques.
NEW! Mixed Media Fever! 10:45am-12:15pm. Learn from professional artists and create out-of-this-world collages from just about any material… magazines, foil, buttons, you name it!

NEW! Drawn-2-Art: Open Arts Studio, 9:00-10:30am. Drawing elements, professional painting techniques, collage, and mixed media will be explored. Work from life & your imagination.

NEW! AGES 6-10: We Drew Birds w/ Abby Rovaldi, One-day workshop, Sat., April 14th from 1:30-3:00pm. Create drawings of birds inspired by live animals and a children’s book called, “The Boy Who Drew Birds.” Cost includes a special visit from the Capron Park Zoomobile! Workshop is geared toward ages 6-10 but all are welcome to register! Costs: $20 mem, $25 non-mem (materials included).
NEW! AGES 6-10: Origami Magic w/ Hiroko Lee, One-day workshop, Sat., May 5th from 2:00 – 3:30pm. Create animals and flowers using basic paper folding techniques – and celebrate “Koi Nobori” (Children’s Day) by creating traditional Japanese koi fish windsocks. Costs: $20 mem, $25 non-mem (materials included).
AGES 11-17: Intro to Monotype: Creating Unique & One-Of-A-Kind Prints w/Paula DeSimone. (4 weeks) Fri., April 13 – May 11 from 3:00 – 5:30pm (NO class on 4/20). Students will work in non-toxic water based media on plexiglas plates and will use the printmaking press to print unique images on paper. Costs: $68 mem, $74 non-mem, plus $25 materials fee.

April Vacation Art Camp: (ages 6-8) April 17-20. Half-day only. 9am-12: 30pm, Tues-Fri. Per day cost: $22 mem, $28 non-mem (supplies included). Minimum enrollment: any 2 days. Campers must bring a snack & drink. Register today – space is limited for our popular vacation camps.

NEW! Pastel Drawing: Passion for Color w/ Lisa Granata, Tues, 6:30 – 9:30pm. Connect with the expressive qualities of pastels and improve your drawing skills while working in color. Students provide their own materials (discussed at first class). Costs: 6 wks (Apr 10 – May 15) $115 mem, $130 non-mem.
NEW! Seascapes in Watercolor w/ Ben Macomber, Thurs, 9:30am – 12:30pm. A maritime watercolor studio. Costs: (Apr 12 – May 24 (NO class on 4/19)) $115 member, $130 non-member, $15 materials fee.
NEW! Ceramics: Muddy Vessels, Thurs, 6-9pm. Students can choose to work on the pottery wheel or hand build. All levels welcome. Costs: (Apr 12 – May 17) $115 member, $130 non-member; $45 materials.
NEW! Monotype: Art of the Unique Print w/ Paula DeSimone, Thurs, 6:00 – 8:30pm. Students will work in non-toxic water based media on plexiglas plates and will use the printmaking press to create one-of-a-kind prints on paper. Demos will be given on color-mixing techniques and creative approaches to texture with found materials. Students provide their own materials (discussed at first class). Students will be introduced to the principles of design: harmony, balance, movement, contrast and scale while exploring a variety of subject matter and tools. Honor Mother’s Day with one (or both) of these new arts experiences:
NEW! Not Your Mom’s Acrylics w/ Adria Arch. Sat., May 12th from 1-4pm. Try out the next generation of GOLDEN paints, and experiment with a range of grounds and gels in this exciting hands-on workshop. Get ready to create 4 to 6 small experimental paintings. Attention all Scout Troops
Earn your Artist Badge at the Attleboro Arts Museum. We will schedule a workshop covering all the necessary requirements for your group. Den leaders can call the Museum at 508.222.2644 x10, or send an email to office@attleboroartsmuseum.org for more details. Costs: $7 per scout. Please note: workshops must take place during Museum business hours (Tues-Sat between 10-5 pm).

Create a Drawing & Painting Class for your Home-school Group
The Attleboro Arts Museum offers an art class designed for home-schoolers based on the work of famous artists, art from around the world, and basic drawing and painting techniques. Please contact the Museum School to create a class for your home-school group, 508.222.2644 x10.
Costs per student: $95 member, $105 non-member (materials included). Class will run for 6 weeks and can be scheduled at a convenient time for participants. A minimum number of students is required.

Please note:
- There are no refunds once payment is issued to the Attleboro Arts Museum (this includes missed or sick days).
- There are no exceptions for the age requirements.
- Parents are not permitted to remain in the studios during art class time.
- There is a minimum enrollment of 7 students per age group for sessions to run. In an effort to run all of our summer camps, age groups may merge if there is low enrollment. If a camp or class has met the minimum enrollment to run and still has space available, you can register right up until the class starts. However, the class will be cancelled if less than 7 students have registered by three days prior to the start date.
